Our story
Built for the people who walk past our door
Safys Chemist opened on Melton Road to do the ordinary parts of pharmacy properly. Prescriptions ready when promised, questions answered without being rushed, and a pharmacist who is actually available when you ask for one.
Melton Road is one of the busiest and most diverse shopping streets in Leicester, and the people who use us reflect that. Families collecting for elderly relatives, patients managing several long term conditions, and travellers heading to South Asia, East Africa and South America who need vaccines and certificates in time for their flights.
Over the last five years we have added a full travel clinic and a range of private vaccinations, all delivered in our own consultation room. The pharmacy is owned and supervised by Seifudin Mohamedali, so decisions about how patients are looked after are made here rather than by a head office.
